My father, Angel Luis Lopez, owned a textile company in the 1980s. He was born with a baseball and a bat in his hand, and he passed that passion on to his children. When I was very young, my father was the coach of my baseball team. He also sponsored the team, which was called A Step Ahead. We played in Glades and Tamiami. If you’re from Miami, you know exactly where those parks are.
Sadly, my father passed away in 2001. I’ve been in the roofing industry since 2008, and recently, I decided to open my own roofing company. There was no better name than “A Step Ahead Roofing, Inc.” Can you think of a better one?
My father was hardworking and honest, and he instilled those values in my brothers and me. Every customer will receive the same honor and respect that my father taught me during my childhood.
